The penanggalan from 1981’s Fiend Folio. Even as a kid, I found this drawing terribly compelling, specifically for its depiction of that mass of entrails as, largely, an almost pasta-like tangle of thick, emptied tubes.
My grandmother bought me my copy of Fiend Folio at Toys “Я” Us.
